Our Focus on Reliability

When you select Orion Technologies Incorporated, you can be sure of complete reliability. We follow strict design, manufacturing and service quality standards in creating high performance computer boards. Our engineers use several of the latest design tools and techniques in developing all of our products. Our products are subject to rigorous testing and quality control procedures to ensure that they perform when you need them most.

Testing

Our Products undergo rigorous testing before they are ever shipped, including board inspection during the building process. Before a board ever leaves the factory, it is tested fully to ensure that it performs to specifications.

Our Hardware Engineers work directly with our Software Department to develop a complete test plan and process for each specific product. All processor-based products are required to run a multi-tasking test under Linux that exercises each and every item on the product.

Every step of testing is monitored for proper product functionality. Orion has developed a test suite for each product that includes board progress & monitoring and generates a test log file for quality, debug and archival purposes.

Burn In

After our boards have been completed, they are subjected to burn-in where marginal components are weeded out.

Some products require testing at various temperature extremes. For this we have developed test control software that controls and monitors the environment of the product under test.
